Today, the Governing Council of the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) has issued a payment institution licence to Octis Pay OOD pursuant to Article 12, paragraph 1 of the Law on Payment Services and Payment Systems (LPSPS), after establishing that the applicant has provided all the required information and documents and has met the conditions for issuing a licence under Article 10 of the LPSPS, as well as the relevant requirements of Ordinance No. 16 of the BNB of 29 March 2018 on Granting Licenses and Approvals, Entry into the Register under Article 19 of the LPSPS, and Requirements to the Activity of Operators of Payment Systems with Settlement Finality.
According to the granted license, Octis Pay OOD may provide payment services under Article 4, items 7 and 8 of the LPSPS – payment initiation and account information services.
