The obverse of the coin features as a central image a high jumper against the background of a stadium. On the right there are two lines of inscriptions: the nominal value ‘10’ and ‘ЛЕВА’ (levs). The year of issue ‘1999’ is inscribed in the field of the stadium. Above in circumference is the inscription ‘ХХVII ЛЕТНИ ОЛИМПИЙСКИ ИГРИ – 2000’ (XXVII Summer Olympic Games – 2000’.)

The reverse of the coin depicts the BNB logo, surrounded by the inscription ‘БЪЛГАРСКА НАРОДНА БАНКА’ (Bulgarian National Bank).
