The obverse of the coin features in the centre: an old street lamp; on the left, the BNB logo with the year ‘1879’ on the strip, the year of issue ‘2026’ under it; on the right, the nominal value ‘10 ЕВРО’ (10 euro) on two lines. In circumference: the inscription ‘БЪЛГАРСКА НАРОДНА БАНКА’ (Bulgarian National Bank).

The reverse of the coin features a depiction of the first tram with inscriptions: above it, ‘125 ГОДИНИ’ (125 years) on two lines, the year ‘1901’ under it, and ‘ЕЛЕКТРИЧЕСКИ ТРАМВАЙ В БЪЛГАРИЯ’ (electric tram in Bulgaria) in circumference.
